Repeat Prescriptions

the pillWe are a dispensing practice. Three of our surgeries dispense medicines (Grange Park does not) and surgery prescriptions are usually dispensed as soon as you have seen the doctor. Repeat prescriptions are computerised. To order a repeat of your drugs you may:

  • Follow the link on this page to the online form

  • Send a written note or hand in the computer slip

  • Fax through your repeat request on fax no:

    • (01604) 862129 Roade Surgery

    • (01604) 878005 Blisworth Surgery

    • (01908) 511662 Hanslope Surgery

    • (01604) 742411 Grange Park Surgery

We no longer accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions unless you are elderly, infirm or housebound.

Online Repeat Prescribing

From 1st April 2015 the practice will be using SystmOnline. This system enables you to view and order your repeat medication, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

To register please visit your usual surgery with identification and the receptionist will assist you. Once you have registered please follow the link ABOVE.

Please allow two working days for your request to be processed but, in an emergency, items can be collected at short notice. Please try and collect items within one week of ordering them as shelf space to store dispensed items is limited.

Dispensing

With the exception of Grange Park Surgery, we have provision to dispense to patients who live in the villages. The Health Service regulations on this matter are very strict and this service can only be offered to those patients who register as dispensing when they join the practice or when they move house. For further information, please telephone any of the surgeries and a member of dispensing staff will be pleased to answer your enquiries.

Please allow a MINIMUM of 48 hours (two working days) for your prescription to be processed.
Please note that if you request your prescription in the morning it will not be processed until the afternoon on that day, so you should allow 48 hours from the afternoon of the date requested.
Saturdays and Sundays do not count, any requests left on Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday will not be ready until Wednesday the following week.
